Bio
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Maria Huff began her piano studies at the age of five. Since then, she has been performing and sharing her music with others continuously. In 2024, Maria obtained her Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance/Pedagogy with an Honors Certification from Northern Kentucky University. There she studied with Dr. Richard Van Dyke and Dr. Christina Lalog Seal. Currently, Maria is pursuing a Masters of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Redlands. Maria has been a presenter at multiple Kentucky Music Teacher's Association Conferences and has competed in several regional competitions as well. Her most recent competitions include the West Hills Music Club's Collegiate Piano Competition and Northern Kentucky University's Concerto Competition, where she was selected to play Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 23, with NKU's Philharmonic Orchestra. Teaching piano has been one of Maria's passions for years! Maria strives to be an encouraging and flexible teacher for students of all ages, needs, and goals. Maria holds herself and her students to the highest standards in performance and education.
